Comments:
my reserch lead me to this final knowledge "It was not true the first trip to the moon and therefor i don't know, as part of the human race, if we did ever gone there". I want to believe, but how i explain the photoediting on the pictures i saw of men there. How to explain the fact there was no stars, how did we pass trough the van hallen shield, why there was no crater under the lunar module, why Armstrong doesn´t speak about that, why there was a satelite in the way of moon sending data as if it was the ship? The shadows in pictures dont match the situacion? Can you please give me some answers? Thank you. Try to see "something funny happened in the way to the moon" documentary.

Webmaster's Response:
"João Paulo" found my old column on a Google Portugal search on "first trip to the moon" in which the following was result #1 of about 28,900,000 (Damn, I'm good, I'm real good!):

First moon landing in 1969 marked an entire generation
I watched the coverage of the trip to the moon until finally, ... I remember well
the first moon landing. I was lying on my cot in a hooch provided for me ...
www.compleatheretic.com/pubs/columns/apollo11.html - 27k - Em cache - Páginas semelhantes
Contrary to "his" request for "some answers," "he" spent just under a minute reading my column and the supporting information before commenting on it:
13:28:08 EST   First moon landing in 1969 marked an entire generation
13:29:03 EST   Contact Page
13:29:10 EST   Guestbook Central
13:29:17 EST   Guestbook Form
Anyone who seriously wants answers to the spurious claims of the loony "moon landing was fake" conspiracy theorists can readily find such information on the Internet:
Phil Plait's Bad Astronomy: Bad TV
Refutes "hoax evidence" in Fox TV's 2001 "Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?"
Pixel Spacer
Redzero's Moonhoax - How Apollo moon landings really happened
Debunks conspiracy theories that Apollo moon landings were faked
Pixel Spacer
The Moon Landings Were NOT Faked
From Jim Scotti, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, University of Arizona
Also, I'm beginning to see a disturbing trend with these hoax lunatics. Less than three weeks ago, I got a similar entry from a lying Canadian. A little over a year ago, I received an e-mail from a Brazilian spouting much of the same nonsense complete with graphics. Could this skepticism actually be a manifestation of anti-Americanism in the wake of America's response to the Nine-Eleven terrorist attacks? After all, the Apollo program was a crowning technological achievement which demonstrated American scientific, economic, and political dominance and superiority. By asserting that this feat was nothing but an elaborate fraud, these kooks are denigrating America's position in the world.

All the same, I was rather amused by "his" reference to the relatively minor radiation threat posed by passing through the "van hallen shield." Hmm, "Van Halen shield"!? He meant "Van Allen belt" of course.

Do you know the names of the democrats who voted for Thomas? Thanks very much. Kathleen

Webmaster's Response:
The aisle-crossers in the 15 October 1991 confirmation vote on the Clarence Thomas nomination to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States were:

Eleven Democrats FOR: Boren (D-OK), Breaux (D-LA), DeConcini (D-AZ), Dixon (D-IL), Exon (D-NE),
Fowler (D-GA), Hollings (D-SC), Johnston (D-LA), Nunn (D-GA), Robb (D-VA), and Shelby (D-AL)

Two Republicans AGAINST: Jeffords (R-VT) and Packwood (R-OR)

The Democrat/Republican split in the U.S Senate was 57/43. The final vote was 52 yeas and 48 nays.
